The differential Invitational

You are invited to The Differential Invitational. Below is the format information and entry fees. If you would like to compete, fill out the form below.
***Public Service Announcement - We are trying to keep the field limited to invite only since this is the inaugural year to see how this goes. So please, do not forward. If you would like to invite someone else, please contact me - Jacob Sigmon (912) 655 - 6383.
The Qualifier
($10 Buy In)
There is a qualifier for a total of 16 spots. So, for example, let’s say we have 40 people sign up for the qualifer. The competitor can play up to 2 rounds within a small time frame. You can post the best of the 2 rounds. You must play with another competitor to validate your score. This will be a putt everything out qualifier, tournament rules apply (NO rolling it in the fairways, etc.). We will take the top 16 to then enter into a playoff bracket. We will be using 60% of the competitors GHIN Handicaps to produce the net score for the top 16. The entry fee for the qualifier is $10.
The Tournament
($100 Buy In)
Once the field of 16 is set, there will be a random drawing for team partners. It will be a 2 man team event. Once the teams are drawn with competitors playing with random partners to form their team, we will do another random drawing to see who plays who in each bracket. These random drawings will form the teams and the brackets. It will be single elimination until we get to the Championship Match. The Championship Match will have a differential compared to other tournaments.
The differential
When we get to the Championship Match, the two teams will play 18 holes at SGC. The Loser of that match will have a 2nd Opportunity. They will again play; however, it will be at the PEGC (Park East Golf Club) in a simulated match at Ohoopee. Let me repeat, this is a simulation game at the PEGC. If the loser of the first championship match wins that simulated match, they will then play a final 18 hole match at SGC, thus giving the championship round a double elimination. tHE PURSE:
The amount of entries we get for the Qualifier will determine the total purse. For example, if we have 40 people who try to qualify, then $400 would be added to the Tournament Buy-In of $100 per person with a 16 field team.
1st Place: 80%
2nd Place: 20%
Qualifying Dates:
We will set a timeline of qualifiers once we know how many entries that we have.
